Head Office

 

Our Head Office support and management ensure the smooth running of the Foundation and take care of the following: teacher training, DBS checks, child protection training, funded school assemblies, timetable administration, parent queries, parent invoicing/collection and tutor monitoring. We also coordinate all examination entries with ABRSM, Trinity Guildhall and Rockschool (RSL) and are proud to boast a 98% pass rate over 20 years.

Kristen Bell  -Vocals 

Kristen has a masters degree in Music Pyschology and has a huge industry back background in the music industry. Born in the USA  she taught musical theatre classes at a prestigious Broadway dance prep school in New York  before residing here in the UK with her husband and family. In London she was was responsible for casting and maintaining a portfolio of voice artists and from the Soho studios  creating music and commercials for British airways, Sky Virgin Atlantic amongst others. She now heads up vocals here at the Rock and Pop Foundation and a very personable vocal coach from a very musical family.

Hannah Feenstra- Multi instrumentalist 

Hannah has  work with several bands in London, Brighton and throughout the UK. Originally a classically trained pianist with a BA in Music Performance from the University of Chichester she gained Grade 8 from the Royal Irish Academy of Music at age 16 and further study at DrumTech London under many accomplished tutors. Hannah is also a teacher of guitar and been teaching for 6 years, to musicians of all ages and abilities She joins the Rock and Pop Foundation off the back of a position as music director on a cruise ship.

Henry Gottelier- - Multi Instrumentalist 

Henry enrolled at The British and Irish Modern Music Institute where he graduated in 2016 with a BA Hons Degree in Professional Musicianship.

Henry is a busy Freelance musician and has gained notable experience playing some of the UKs most prestigious music venues whilst on tour. Currently, Henry is the main songwriter and frontman in the upcoming originals Alternative Rock trio ‘Saltlake’, as well as fronting the Classic Rock tribute act ‘Groove Hoover’. Henry has also had the privilege of recording with some of the UKs most recognised producers and at some of the top recording studios in the country.

Josh Breslaw - Multi instrumentalist

 Josh has worked in the music industry for over 13 years, originally as a musician and over the past 6 years on the business side in band management and project development. He is the  founder member of the band Oi Va Voi and manages  his own  artist management company, DRUM MGMT. He co-founded the music education company Myband and now works  along side the Rock and Pop Foundation works in a freelance capacity on music and media projects.

 

Chris Smith - Multi Instrumentalist 

Chris has been with the Rock and Pop Foundation for over 10 years. Originally trained as a classical guitarist and is  a masterful technical musician. He spends his performing time as lead guitarist for a band called the Frets and is  also married to a very accomplished pianist. 

His skill sets developed produces as a very versatile all round  multi instrumental  tutor liked by all his students.

Jimmy Latham - Multi Instrumentalist 

If you like Jack Black School of Rock then here we have his twin!! A super guitarist who also has the most amazing technique.

Not shy on the drums Jimmy is a great asset to the Foundation and kids just feel at ease with his style of teaching. 

Ally Mc Dougal- Multi Instrumentalist 

Ally graduated in 2016 with a BMus Drum Performance degree at The Academy of Contemporary Music, Guildford and achieved 1st class honours. He was mentored by Pete Riley (Republica, Guthrie Govan, Rhythm Mag), Frankie Tontoh (Amy Whinehouse, Craig David), Jon Duff and Danny Mullowney. Before going to college he achieved  Trinity Grade 8 drums (Distinction) and ABRSM Grade 5 Theory (Distinction) as well as being an accomplished drummer he has guitar and keyboards as his other instruments. Away from the foundation his evening work is currently playing with many different artists such as: Dire Straits Legacy, Murray Head, Renato Zero, Kokomo, Tony O’Malley, Kaz Hawkins, Alan Darby to name a few.

Greg Torres- Guitar

Eva Lathwell- Piano Keyboard 

Eva Originally trained in Czechia 🇨🇿 and converted her Piano skills and qualifications to ABRSM and Trinity College London.

A well liked approachable tutor , a lot of children enjoy her style of teaching and delighted to have her skill set alongside us here at the

Rock and Pop Foundation.

Leo Thornley -- Multi Instrumentalist 

Leo has been with the Foundation for over 10 years and still drives inspiration to many students across the East Anglia Region . His passion is till to perform at festivals and that  transforms into the classroom with live performance, and a skills set that really engages his students.

Matt White - Drum Tutor 

Matt is a true industry professional drummer having play for Sophie Ellis- Bextor. With two decades of performance and touring we are delighted that Matt still dedicates his time for the Rock and Pop Foundation and has done so for some 15 years. 

Matt is also does world tours with Ott and the Seing I.
